CHPC is helping build a two-story house at 4022 Grand Avenue.  (Joe Pierson is pictured above left.  Irene Yang is pictured above right.)  The partner family is Ashley Bethel, a single mother of two children.

We began building on Raise the Roof Weekend, Thursdays (August 20 and 27) and Saturday (August 29).

We are looking for workers—both the faithful volunteers from previous years and those who have never tried it before but are willing to pitch in and work on these dates: Friday, September 18; Saturday, October 10; and Saturday, November 7.  Please arrive by 8:00 am for a quick briefing.  The work day is usually from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, though if you can come only a few hours, that is fine too.  Lunch will be served on each date.
